Who You Are
Slalom Phoenix is seeking a Business Analysis Consultant to join our growing Delivery Leadership capability team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business objectives, analyze processes, and design efficient systems to enhance productivity and achieve strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by leveraging your analytical skills and technical expertise.
What You'll Do Understand business requirements by conducting customer interviews, analyzing user data, workshopping with business stakeholders, and/or working with their Product Managers to meet the product roadmap goals/strategy Works with business leads, operations and customer to identify and defines requirements, epics features, user stories and acceptance criteria to meet customer needs Actively lead Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standup, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive system solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints and work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Create clear and concise documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and system workflows to facilitate communication and ensure project alignment. Develop test plans, execute test cases, and conduct user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and ensure adherence to business requirements. What You'll Bring
4+ years of business analysis experience and/or project management, consulting experience a plus. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, database concepts, and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, and SQL. Proven track record of solving complex problems and translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Skilled at defining and documenting business functional and technical user stories and feature backlog for ongoing product enhancements. Strong knowledge in software delivery: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
