Duration: 6 month with possibility to extend or convert
Location: local to Minneapolis, onsite work as needed
Overview of the Project:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to lead the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics. This initiative is part of a strategic effort to optimize and streamline business operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve overall system efficiency within the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including distributors, internal teams, and vendors, to gather and analyze business requirements for the MS Dynamics rollout.
- Develop detailed project plans, process flows, and documentation to support the successful deployment of MS Dynamics.
- Identify and address system and process gaps, ensuring comprehensive solutions are implemented to meet business needs.
- Work closely with technical teams to validate system configurations and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), provide training materials, and support end-users to ensure a smooth transition.
- Continuously assess and improve processes, contributing to the overall success of the MS Dynamics initiative.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on software implementation and business process improvement projects.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience working on Microsoft Dynamics initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, or process optimizations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify gaps in processes, systems, or requirements and develop actionable strategies to address them.
- Project Management: Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at escalating challenges effectively while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with distribution or supply chain operations.
