They are owned by a parent company that oversees an entire manufacturing portfolio in the U.S. over $1B in annual revenue.Job DescriptionResponsible for productivity improvements, automation implementation, and Lean initiatives.Develop and Improve processes in a machine shop and assembly environment.Troubleshooting production issues of mechanical and electrical nature.Ability to understand electrical schematics and troubleshoot/identify component level issues.Develop automation, optimized methods, special tooling & machine/test stand designs for the purpose of cost reduction, quality & process enhancementDrive shop floor CI through lean minded process/flow improvements and cross functional kaizen events.Develops requirements for tooling, fixtures, testing and support equipment.Being involved in capital expenditure discussionsEmployee's primary duties require him/her to use discretion and independent judgment.Understanding Customer and Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical) requirements and translating them into our processesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
