Warehouse Associate Job at SmartTalent in Marysville

SmartTalent is seeking candidates for a warehouse associate position in Marysville, WA. The Warehouse Associate is a key member of the warehouse team who is responsible for the picking and packing orders. This position also assists with additional responsibilities including, inventory consolidation and moves, receiving, and shipping, as well as other responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: $19-20/hr

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 4pm-12am

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Order picking / packing from pick sheet using RF barcode scanner

• Unloading of shipping containers by hand with other team members

• Material handling including movement of goods in warehouse via RF scanner or Turret truck

• Consolidation and space management of stored inventory shipping operations including the loading of outbound trucks

• Inventory control including cycle counting and physical inventories

• Safe and effective use of warehouse equipment: Including RF technology, lifts trucks, and order pickers (cherry picker) pallet jack.

• General warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor

• General Custodial duties such as sweeping, dusting, emptying of WH waste receptacles

Key Issues and Decisions and Job Requirements:

• Work as a member of the team Ability to Multi-task Organized and structured regarding processes and deadlines

• Ability to follow Company policies and procedures Prior warehouse experience including picking, pack, and shipping operations

• Prior order picker/forklift certification or experience is required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. swing shift and day shift available

• Follow company policy and procedure 4.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to move boxes up to 50lbs Bend, stretch, reach, squat, push, pull for the entire shift

• Not afraid of heights

Position Purpose: A Warehouse Worker is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.
