Description: Gordon Feinblatt is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of management-side labor and employment experience to join our Employment Practice Group.
Experience should include responding to claims filed with federal, state, and local agencies and courts and providing client advice and counsel on the following topics: EEO issues, federal and state wage and hour law, compliance with federal state, and local leave laws, reasonable accommodation, and other employment-related compliance matters. Experience with workplace investigations and training is a plus.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of matters and will conduct legal research and analysis, draft positions statements, court filings and other legal documents, provide strategic legal advice, and remain current on employment law trends and developments.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, and an aptitude for business generation. Significant client interaction will be expected.
Candidate should have experience assuming ownership of assignments and responsibility for clients. Requirements:
