About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Director to take charge of financial planning and analysis for our portfolio of private equity-backed companies. In this vital role, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling while delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance. This position calls for a strategic thinker with proven analytical skills accustomed to the fast-paced environment of high-growth, PE-backed firms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the FP&A function to drive financial strategy
Develop and maintain robust financial models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective capital allocation decisions
Monitor key performance indicators to track financial health
Provide financial leadership during M&A activities
Support system improvements for better forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency
This role requires a candidate with a solid track record as a senior finance leader within private equity-backed environments. You should possess expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, along with a strong grasp of strategic financial planning and capital allocation. Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence diverse teams and senior management are essential.
A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA or CFA is preferred. Candidates should also have relevant experience in M&A activities, including due diligence, financial integration, and post-merger analysis, and be adept at translating data into insights for executive-level strategy.
