Cardiovascular APP positionFort Worth, TexasBaylor Scott & White, Heart and Vascular Hospital Fort Worth is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to join their growing cardiology team in the cardiac catheterization pre/post procedural unit. The APP will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of cardiovascular and electrophysiology disorders.
This position requires no weekends, holidays or call.Opportunity Highlights:Schedule: 3 - 12 hour shifts,6am-6pmNo weekends, no holidays, and no call requirementsArea: Pre/post cardiac catheterization unitPerform history and physical consultation for patients scheduled for cardiac, EP or vascular procedureManage post procedural complicationsAssess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease processes, independently and in collaboration with the physician(s)Discharge patients from the cardiology, electrophysiology (EP), and/or CVS service lines, and provide appropriate follow-upLimited inpatient rounding responsibilitiesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEGraduate of an accredited AGACNP nurse practitioner program or PA programCardiology experience preferred but not requiredCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATIONCurrent certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) OR the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)Unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) AGACNP license, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certificationBasic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer.BENEFITSOur competitive benefits package includes the following:Support through an APP leadership structure at local and regional levelsHighly competitive financial & benefits packageYearly CME and Professional Development allocationsImmediate eligibility for comprehensive health benefitsMedical malpractice coverage401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%Tuition ReimbursementPTO accrual beginning Day 1An application and CV can be submitted online at: .To learn more, please direct your inquiry to Donna Mills, Senior APP Recruiter,
