Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a software engineer for the GDMS team, you'll be a member of a cross functional team.

What sets you apart:

5 years experience with Vue JS including experience with State management in Vue JS with both Vuex and Pinia Experience building vue js applications with VITE Experience in building and managing packages with both npm and nuget including building solutions to software supply chain issues in both environments Min 5 years Experience with both JavaScript and Typescript preferably as part of a VueJS application Min 2 years Experience with creating and managing CI build pipelines in Azure Devops with a preference for YAML pipelines. Min 2 years experience writing powershell scripts 5 years experience with C# Preferred:

Knowledge of IndexedDB Experience managing and developing CI build infrastructure Experience developing WYSIWYG editors in Vue

Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems Comfortable providing technical leadership Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

Workplace Options: This position is fully on-site, with flex options possible. While on-site, you will be a part of the GDMS - Progeny Systems Chesapeake, VA facility.

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $107,520.00 - USD $119,280.00 /Yr.
