Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative for one of our clients in an industrial environment in Bakersfield. In this role, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Assist customers in-person, answering questions and providing detailed information about products and services.
Sales Processing:
Take and process orders, handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough understanding of product features, benefits, and pricing to better assist customers.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, restock shelves, and communicate inventory needs to management.
Problem Resolution:
Address customer concerns or complaints, providing effective solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and assist with larger sales initiatives.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory changes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic computer skills for processing orders and maintaining records
