Responsibilities and Duties of the Senior Financial Analyst:
Collaborate with segment sales leaders and plant controllers to consolidate and analyze revenue and EBITDA bridges.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
Act as the primary point of contact for sales leaders on financial matters and related inquiries.
Utilize statistical and operational data to identify correlations between operational performance and financial results, providing enhanced insights for senior management's decision-making.
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports, including inventory, past dues, cost savings, and other operational metrics.
Drive automation of standard processes and lead process improvement initiatives.
Support the monthly close process, including preparing and maintaining accrual support for rebates and commissions.
Ensure data integrity of the company's key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop financial models and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
Perform variance analysis, budget development, forecasting, and prepare monthly management presentations.
Oversee price maintenance uploads and supervise GSS team members during pricing administration.
Maintain and update external party portals, supervising GSS team members during these tasks.
Assist with addressing ad hoc requests on a routine basis.
Additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as needed.
Experience Preferred of the Senior Financial Analyst:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
3+ years experience
Advanced modeling skills including advanced Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
