Accounts Receivable Specialist
Join our clients close-knit team of five in the accounting department, where you will be an integral part of the finance operations. The office environment is casual yet professional and fun, reflecting the collaborative spirit that has been fostered by their Controller, who has been with the company for an impressive 30+ years. They offer a supportive atmosphere where your contributions will be valued.
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the AR department. Reporting to the GL Accountant and Controller, your responsibilities will include:
Cash Receipts / Cash Applications - apply daily check and ACH payments received
Processing credit memos and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
Address customer questions regarding invoices and accounts
Backup for accounts payable and assisting with various tasks and special projects, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Critical thinking skills and sound decision-making abilities
Proactive in asking questions to ensure correct task completion
Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to work independently
