A premier provider of innovative environmental management services in the Denver Metro Area is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.
Position Overview for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
We are looking for a meticulous and dynamic individual to join the team in the following role:
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
Generate and manage daily invoices, ensuring timely collection of customer payments to maintain cash flow.
Match work orders with customer invoices to ensure financial accuracy.
Update Time & Material rate templates within the billing system as directed by the Manager.
Partner with Operations and Project Managers to understand project financials and requirements.
Identify and document past due accounts, managing follow-up tasks efficiently.
Investigate and resolve customer discrepancies and past-due amounts, communicating with customers to expedite payments.
Ensure timely issuance of insurance certificates and accurate execution of lien waivers.
Skills and Knowledge for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
The ideal candidate will have:
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Knowledge of billing for construction/engineering services, including complex project invoicing and time/material billing
Independent thinking and effective problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
