Position Overview
The ideal Recruiter/HR Generalist ensures we hire, onboard and engage our employees throughout tenure at our organization.
This role is very hands on in the recruiting process by sourcing, presenting and guiding the hiring process for all of our practices and will seamlessly pivot to HR Generalist and operations work ensuring efficiency and compliance throughout the employee life cycle. Top 3 Outcomes for Year 1 : Leverage our recruiting tools to their fullest capabilities:
Leverage our ATS’s social media and other posting and integration tools for sourcing and hiring candidates. Optimize HR operational processes: Work with current PEO partners and ensure accurate and timely submissions of employee changes. Establish Key Relationships:
Identify local dental hygienist and assistant schools and programs and establish relationships in key locations as a source for future employees. Set up a weekly communication with the our practice managers on the the status of current the open positions. Requirements Conducts intake sessions with practice leaders, source, screen and present candidates for consideration. Negotiates offers and generate offer letters and onboarding materials. Optimizes the ATS’s systems features and functionality. Identifies and implements sourcing resources beyond typical job boards to identify qualified candidates (i.e. social media, schools). Generates official internal documents such as offer letters, pay adjustments, employee change reports. Ensures Practice Managers execute onboarding plans. Educates newly hired team members on HR policies, internal policies/procedures, where to find needed resources, etc. Onboards and offboards employees in various HR systems (email distribution lists and groups in Office 365, HRIS, and LMS), audits certain entries for accuracy. Knowledgeable of benefits offerings and assists Benefits Specialist in annual open enrollment, answering benefits questions and reviewing benefits plan for each new year. Assists in other HR duties including but not limited to regular reporting and analytics, engagement surveys, exit surveys, performance review process, training and development, and HR compliance. Qualifications Bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of related Recruiting experience and strong interest in gaining additional HR knowledge and experience. Experience recruiting in a dental or medical related field preferred. Proficiency with MS Office a must and preferable experience with ATS systems or other HR Databases. Strong multi-tasking capability, temperament, ability/comfortable working as a team and independently. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; strong time management, planning, problem-solving and creative solutions skills needed. Delegates work appropriately; proficient using computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office products.
