The Business Systems Analyst (IAM) position is a very important role in our Information Technology team at Varo and will report to Sr. Manager of Information Technology. This role will be responsible for identity & access management (IAM) framework, development, certification and maintenance functions.
What you'll be doing
Developupdate the required IAM governance, certification program to support business and information security requirements for Varo Money and Varo Bank environments Assess current state and develop future state IAM maturity model covering a broad range of topics including digital identities of workforce as well as scaling for growing customerpartner base that will meetexceed regulatory expectations Collaboratepartner with cross functional teams in all business units and stakeholders to identifyecommend est IAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies, and processes as needed Ensure strong authentication, authorization, role based access controls (RBAC) are implemented in existing
ew applicationsproducts, including mobile devices and physical access Utilize IAM, PAM solutions andor other processes in developing reporting identity & access governance certification metrics, dashboards Assist the Sr. Manager of Information Technology in management of all other IT program areas, and functions, including Helpdesk support Support data governance and data classification programs Assist with office-related IT tasks in San Francisco HQ in a hybrid working environment. You'll bring the following required skills and experiences
7 - 10 years of information technology experience with specialization in IAM. Related experience working in a financial institution, a fintech company, or a provider to the financial services business sector is preferred Reporting on IAMPAM governance & certification program; expert knowledge of IAM framework, and Risk Management Framework Strong experience working with Okta, specifically Okta Identity Governance, and extensive knowledge of creating and maintaining Okta Workflows B.S. in Cyber Security or Computer Science, Information Systems related majors Security certifications (e.g. CISSP-ISSMP, CISM, CGEIT, CCSP andor other comparable certifications in IAM domain) are a plus Excellent IAMPAMRBACCASBSingle Sign OnMulti Factor AuthenticationFederationAWS IAM knowledge and experience Extensive experience working with regulatory banking examiners to demonstrate higher level maturity in IAM governance & certification that meets mandatory requirements Experience reportingpresenting to the senior management, the Board, and/or Committees of the Board on the status of IAMPAM governance, certification efforts.
$100,000 - $120,000 a year
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Per applicable law, the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the identified range.
