Day to Day 1. provide a software development kit(SDK) with standard APIs and integration points to test on various test venues (such as chambers) 2) reduce testing time by optimizing and automating test results analysis, identifying fault trees and fault localization and reducing/removing the need for post-test human intervention 3)auto-cut tickets on non-conformance(NC) and other anomalies that require immediate attention 4) improve quality of tests by importing all requirements into standard requirements template and tracking definition of done for increment-D certification. We have more workstreams identified for the contractors but we are focusing on these activities as they have the biggest impact on our throughput.

Job Description: Manufacturing systems engineering under prod-ops is responsible for delivering software and test frameworks that improve the speed and quality of testing of satellite components. We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our test systems, improve throughput, and accelerate the transition. We are looking for an engineer with experience in component and device testing, creating test simulations and integrations with industry-standard tools and equipment such as Test Stand and Labview.

Key job responsibilities The candidate would participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment. You will work with cross-functional partner teams and lead efforts with engineers from requirements to deployment. - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience ( Preference for C++, Python) - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
