Job Description
Summary/Objective Warehouse associate will be involved in the daily operation of the warehouse; order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory control and operation of warehouse equipment and computer systems. The associate must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to follow written and verbal direction. Schedule: M-F 5:45AM - 2:30PM with occasional OT during peak season - Mandatory 8 hours plus voluntary OT - not exceeding 60 hours per week. **Must be willing to be forklift certified and operate machinery weekly as needed to support business needs and full-time equipment operators.**
Essential Functions 1. Employees should be able to adhere to Fanatics Brands Code of Conduct and Core Values. 2. Manually unloading stock from sea containers and trucks 3. Stock location / Stock put away 4. Use of computer to access the Warehouse Management System. 5. Operation of warehouse equipment to include: Push cart, hand truck, manual pallet jack, Electric pallet jack, Order picker, Fork lift. 6. Operation of RF scan gun 7. Picking customer orders 8. Verification and Packing of customer orders 9. Participate in Inventory control processes 10. Generate shipping labels from Warehouse systems or carrier data base 11. Prepare palletized stock for outbound shipping ie: Stacking boxes on pallets, shrink-wrapping, labeling pallets and boxes. 12. Involved in general health and safety practices and training.
General House keeping 1. Any other tasks deemed necessary by management 2. Assist warehouse manager in daily warehouse operations in line with company policy and vision. 3. Train, mentor and coach new warehouse personnel in warehouse procedures and company vision. 4. Assist in planning future capacity requirements. 5. Ensure inventories are accurate. 6. Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately. 7. Promote company health and safety policies
Competencies 1. Strong communication skills 2. Pays attention to details. 3. Interpersonal skills the ability to work with those from other cultures & countries 4. Reliability - The ability to be at work timely / good attendance 5. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Qualifications Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience 1. Warehouse experience 2. Forklift certification
