JOB SUMMARY:

The

Area Business Office Manager

plays acrucial role in overseeing the business operations of multiple senior carecommunities within a designated region. This role ensures the smooth andefficient operation of financial and administrative processes, includingbilling, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and resident admissions. Theideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with strongleadership skills and a passion for improving processes to support high-qualitycare for seniors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assistin managing the business office operations for multiple senior care facilities,ensuring that all financial and administrative functions are performedaccurately and efficiently Overseeaccounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting for eachfacility within the region Mentorbusiness office managers at individual facilities, providing ongoing trainingand support as needed Collaboratewith facility administrators and regional leadership to align business officeoperations with company goals and regulatory requirements Ensurecompliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to billing,finance, and admissions Trainand provide oversight on managing internal cash accounts including petty cashand resident trust Monitorand manage the financial health of each facility, identifying areas forimprovement and implementing corrective actions when necessary Coordinatewith the admissions team to manage resident intake processes, ensuring alldocumentation is complete and accurate Assistwith budgeting and forecasting processes for each facility, working closelywith the finance team to ensure accurate projections Leadspecial projects related to business office functions, such as softwareimplementation, process improvements, and staff training initiatives Fillin as Business Office Manager at facilities to cover vacations and/or turnoveras needed Reviewmonthly resident trust reconciliation reports for assigned communities Completemonth-end close process and revenue balancing for assigned communities Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (orequivalent experience) preferred Experiencein senior care or long-term care facility business office management (SNF andALF experience is a plus) PointClick Care experience SNFMedical Billing experience including Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO claim creationand submission CBCOregon & Washington Medicaid experience is strongly preferred Solidunderstanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivableprinciples Proficientin Microsoft Office including Excel and Word People-orientedand results-driven Abilityto maintain professional standards and confidentiality of sensitiveinformation Experiencein managing & processing payroll Excellentcustomer service, communication, organization skills and professionalism Abilityto work independently in a time-sensitive environment Genuineconcern for and ability to work with the elderly Abilityto manage and prioritize a large, complex workload Possesssufficient communication and language (orally and written) skills to performjob duties and communicate with residents, other staff, family members, etc. asneeded Knowledgeof and ability to conform to the applicable law, rules, and regulations EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:
