Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
SAP FICO Business Analyst
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, providing support for end-users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes. This role involves troubleshooting, enhancement, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Process Improvement : Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into SAP FICO requirements. Conduct gap analysis and propose system enhancements to optimize financial processes. Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, leveraging SAP best practices.
SAP FICO Configuration : Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO). Customize and optimize settings to meet business requirements, ensuring all configurations align with best practices. Work on integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external applications.
Support & Maintenance : Provide Level 2 and 3 support for SAP FICO issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.
Project Management & Collaboration : Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams for successful project delivery. Participate in testing phases (Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing). Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and create training materials as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. 3 to 10 years of experience
in SAP FICO configuration and support. Strong understanding of
financial accounting principles
and processes. Proven experience in
SAP FI and CO module configuration
(GL, AP, AR, AA, CO). Familiarity with
integration points
between FICO and other SAP modules. Excellent
problem-solving skills
and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills:
SAP Certification in FICO module. Experience with
S/4HANA . Background in project management. Exposure to SAP MM/SD module integration. Additional Information
