Our client is looking to add 2 Data Governance Leads to their team. These roles will lead the expansion of our client's Global Data Governance Framework within the Global Customer Master Data Domain. They will coordinate with the existing Global Data Governance team and business stakeholders to deploy and adopt an operating model that facilitates effective data ownership, stewardship, data quality, and data management capabilities. 1 will lead the Customer Domain and the other will lead the Vendor Domain data integration duties in support of our client's migration to SAP S4. The Data Governance Lead role is a critical component of our client's business strategy and will report to the Director of Data Governance. This role will combine subject-matter knowledge of the policies, procedures, technology, and methods best suited to delivering trusted, consistent, clean data to the organization. The Data Governance Lead will identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of data processes by facilitating the elimination of duplicate data, eliminating duplicative processes, and centralizing the resolution of data discrepancies. The Data Governance Lead will participate as a core team member on our client's S4 migration program and be accountable for data migration, data quality and coordination of project activities. In this capacity, s/he will coordinate with data stewards and data owners who will act as the key stakeholders in delivering accurate, trusted, and consistent data. As a team, the Data Governance Lead and the data stewards/owners will work to create a data culture that strives to standardize policies and procedures around the management of data as an enterprise asset. This is a highly collaborative role and, as such, facilitates joint brainstorming and team collaboration. The Data Governance Lead will clearly communicate the importance of developing and enforcing standards for consistent, clean data. This role works closely with her/his team and key stakeholders to establish enterprise processes.

Heavy knowledge and experience working on migrations and/or implementations of large scale ERP systems (SAP S4 and MDG are highly preferred)
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form (The position is designed to interact with numerous departmental heads/management aiding them in the proper application of data policies, leading to functional improvement. Will require the skill to communicate complex ideas effectively.)
Must demonstrate a passion for research and data and be highly skilled in managing complex data environments to increase efficiencies and eliminate duplicate processes
Highly skilled in the use of analytics toolsets, being able to identify and recommend complementary tools to provide governance of key data processes
Self-motivated, proactive, taking initiative and has exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to work comfortably in a cross-functional setting and with senior business executives
Ability to take accountability for the business's performance and have an ability to remain calm and composed under stress and uncertainty, inspiring the same in her/his team
Natural ability to make strong, lasting, and meaningful connection with others, which will aid in the execution of duties in this highly collaborative role
