Remote - On-site presence is required at least once a quarter. With advance notice, additional days could be required depending on business needs. Description: You Will: Be Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing the day to day operations for application production support processes, systems, projects, and personnel for clinical applications. Analyze and researche departmental budget(s) to locate errors and/or omissions, balance account records, and reconcile discrepancies. Supervise staff and manages employee performance. Provide on-going performance feedback, addresses problems, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills. Monitor workflow. Attend educational in-services as appropriate. Participate in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments. Collect, organize, and analyze data and generates and provides accurate and complete reports for management and/or regulatory agencies. Interpret applicable regulations and establishes filing and auditing procedures to ensure records and files are accurate and in compliance.Perform related responsibilities as required. Administrative and People Management Duties: Provide oversight and support for a team of analysts who provide systemwide support for third party pharmacy related systems, many that integrate with Epic, such as Omnicell, Baxa Compounder, Invistics, etc. Manage team schedules and daily assignments plus project work. Ensure team is consistently logging time in the time tracking system and assess time utilization is appropriate. Establish metrics using Service Now for team productivity and provide dashboard or report to Director of Core Clin Apps. Ensure all department annual regulatory requirements are completed by established deadlines. Conduct performance review session to include goal setting with each team member and midyear and end of year reviews. Meet weekly one on one with team members and have weekly team meeting. Partner with each team member to provide career growth opportunities and assist them with achieving. Develop and organize system documentation, SOPs, troubleshooting guides. Co-lead Pharmacy Automation Committee along with Pharmacy Ops Manager. Work closely with Digital Pharmacy managers for Willow and Beacon teams. System Management Duties: Gain an overall understanding of all third party systems supported by the team. Ensure there are issue tracking documents and they are kept up to date for each system. Ensure technical documentation is up to date and is in a central location for ease of access. Work closely with system project managers to ensure resources are assigned appropriately for projects and projects tasks are completed. Serve as the liaison with Pharmacy Operations and Emory Digital teams. Ensure daily system monitoring is occurring by analysts for Omnicell and issues are logged with Omnicell TAC. Participate in Epic Upgrade meetings and ensure Omnicell/Epic testing is completed. Lead issue and troubleshooting session with third party vendors to resolve issues quickly. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred, plus 4 years experience in health care information technology including project management, personnel management, and application production support. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
