Role Description:
Mainframe Modernization. Must have IMS DB.•Knowledge of other Mainframe High-level languages such as Assembler, PL/1 is a plus.Write, test, and maintain high quality assembler code for mainframe applications. Ensure code meets functional and performance requirements. Create and maintain clear documentation for code, process, and system interactions.Work closely with other developers, system analysts and project managers to understand requirements. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions.Write and manage JCL scripts for job submissions, data processing and system operations.Ensure code complies with organizational standards and best practices for security, performance and maintainability.Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining assembler language. Role requires a strong understanding of computer architecture, memory management, and processor operations. Candidate will work closely with systems developers to ensure efficient and optimized software that meets system performance goals
