Job Description

Primary Function of

Position:

A Material Handler 1 (MH1) is responsible for material-handling duties in support of Logistics operations, Production operations, both Sustaining and New Products, as well as other internal customers. A MH1 must be in good standing (attendance, quality, accuracy, and positive behavior). A MH1 will bring value by tasks that will include the following: receiving, parts put-away, material transfers (MT), Stock Transfer Orders (STO), inventory replenishment, Field Replaceable Units (FRU) or parts material movements, packaging, SAP transactions or any other needed function of the Materials team.

Essential Job Duties: Receiving materials, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) receiving tasks. Physically and systemically moving approved materials from staging areas into market storage locations. Point-of-use parts replenishment for designated production lines. Follow First in First Out (FIFO) when putting away, picking and replenishment material. (Kanban and parts requests) Fulfilling and transacting MT requests, received either electronically or via hard copy. Process approved Stock Transfer Orders. Production parts replenishment via kitting process or pre-bagging needs. Packing FRU or ERBE work orders, creating boxes, cleaning cases, floor management of cases. Kanban fulfillment and part request transactions. Actively counting, performing basic math, and being able to compare transacted material to physical movements as part of an audit. Responsible for complying with general Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and Warehouse housekeeping processes. Maintain warehouse safety and housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles. Communicating verbally, via Zoom, or via email the status of material movements and transactions to appropriate internal customers. Ability to perform to core curriculums and responsibilities. And to work independently. Ability to complete ISUs and all training ahead of deadlines. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds and use a pallet jack. Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting) is required. Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience and/or certification in performing material-handling tasks (cycle counting, physical inventory, location movements). Ability to effectively communicate with peers and internal customers, both verbally and written. Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, quality, and performance guidelines. Experience with computer systems (MS Office, Excel, SAP, Agile, WMS). Must continuously exhibit and showcase CCEE (Character, Capacity, Energy, and Experience) Required Education and Training:

Minimum of high school degree or equivalent required. College degree is a plus. Minimum 2 years of experience in Material Handling operations is preferred. Forklift/Lift experience is a plus, not a requirement. Working Conditions:

Ability to lift and move 50 pounds multiple times per day. Ability to use a pallet jack. Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting) is required.
