Sit-down Forklift Operator - Material Handler
Job description:
Support all departments with material handling, organization, and record keeping. Maintain inventory control, accurate equipment and supply records, and facilitate material stocking and restocking.
NOTE: Candidates will have to preform duties around the warehouse that do not consist on being on a forklift. MUST be comfortable with this. no exceptions. Responsibilities: * Receive, stock, and record new and existing materials. * Communicate with staff and management to identify material needs. * Maintain material records using a scanner or computer program. * Operate a forklift to transport materials.
70% forklift - 30% warehouse associate other duties. * Adhere to safety and manufacturing policies.
Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. * Computer skills, including software proficiency. * Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods. * Fluent English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Forklift experience (certification) * Previous industrial or warehouse experience. Working Conditions: * Required PPE, including safety shoes, back brace, safety vest. * Ability to work at heights up to 10 feet. * Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting. *
Frequent use of hand tools and power tools: Saw, tape measure, hammer, and others.
Work Hours: 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm must be available to work both or change up. Monday to Friday
OT and weekends only as needed.
40-44 hours average per week
