TSSCI Oracle DBA

Job Description An employer is looking for an Oracle DBA to sit in Arlington, VA. The team current provides comprehensive application and database management services to support software build and deployment, as well as identity and access management (IdAM). The services include creating implementation plans that outline the scope, approach, and execution for all application deployments, performing data migration from existing systems to new systems, and sustaining and maintaining production, replica test, and unclassified database environments. This candidate will coordinate and assist with deployment and support activities, develop data migration plans and scripts, and update, patch, and improve applications and databases as required. Compensation: $65/hr to $72/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements Currently have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP) Ability to obtain an AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification within 120 days 10 years of hands-on engineering and administration experience in virtualized environments supporting the federal government Must have experience as a Database Administrator to include tasks such as data migration, data replication, user administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, issue investigation, issue resolution, and general administration. Must have experience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and SQL in general.
