Description
Job Purpose / Summary:
The Administrative Assistant performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, rent collection, data processing, and record keeping.
Essential duties and responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: o Date stamp, sort and distribute inter-office and external mail. o Communicate with residents; respond to their inquiries. o Assist the accounts receivable, payable and accounting departments with administrative tasks o Assist the CFO with rent renewal paperwork o Correspond with outside agencies and ownership
Functions : o Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department
o Prepare and process various projects' paperwork, edit and get approved for distribution o Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material o Other duties as assigned
