Techead is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for a long-term contract position focused on revamping an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This 24-month project involves consolidating various legacy systems, including Human Resources, Fiscal, Procurement, Grants, and Warehouse & Inventory, into a single centralized solution. The BSA will serve as a crucial link between business objectives and technological solutions, working on complex business processes, requirements gathering, documentation, and supporting the creation and review of project-related documentation. Collaboration with project managers, developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders is essential. Key Position Responsibilities: Define operational objectives by studying multiple business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements. Work with stakeholders to document current business processes and develop new ones for all functional areas within the ERP. Collaborate with the project team, vendors, and stakeholders to manage all aspects of change management. Conduct analysis of business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into system specifications. Partner with various departments to identify opportunities for technical solutions that enhance business processes. Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams, maintaining ongoing communication with management. Monitor business initiative progress and provide guidance and support to other business analysts. Minimum Qualifications: Detail-oriented with strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in analyzing and documenting complex business processes and identifying improvements. Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and use cases. Proficient in creating clear, comprehensive documentation. Skilled in business modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart). Experience in stakeholder engagement through interviews and workshops for requirements gathering. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborative approach to working with project managers and development teams. Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools. Background in Fiscal, IT, or HR. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (10 years preferred). Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, with an emphasis on IT development projects. Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Database querying skills (SQL, Oracle, or Crystal Reports). Familiarity with system development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes. Proficiency in project tracking tools, such as Jira. Hybrid position with an average of three days per week on-site. Equipment:
Remote work requires a personal computer (Windows 7 or above, or Mac OS) with a webcam and audio equipment for virtual meetings. Physical Requirements:
