Summary:
Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other.
Responsibilities:
Receiving Unload and process delivery trucks in a professional and timely manner. Ensure proper documentation is with the received product. Track and document exact shipment arrival and carrier departure times. Check in all daily incoming shipments for all vendors by comparing actual count to packing slip, including internal shipments from all warehouses. Post all incoming packing slips into the computer. Follow all company procedures for receipts of missing documentation from supplier and shortages or damaged parts. Complete proper quality procedures on receipts. Report any issues to quality department. Process all incoming stock orders within 24 hours, including receipts in the system and tag and label pallets. Outbound
Shrink-wrap and stage completed pallets of selected product for outbound shipments. Load outgoing trucks using appropriate tools. Internal Operation
Operate appropriate material handling equipment (for example, forklift, scales) Enter inventory movements within Warehouse Management System. Process and maintain all returns by properly putting all ingredients being returned from manufacturing. Ensure that parts are sealed and labeled properly to GMP standards. Accurately select product by matching slot numbers and product descriptions using a warehouse management system Lift and carry cases of up to 75 lbs. from pick slots and place them onto pallets; cases must be lifted from floor level, shoulder level and overhead. Meet and maintain established productivity standards. Construct sturdy, balanced pallet loads from various sizes and weights of cases for damage-free shipping. Communicate with supervisors regarding safety, equipment, damaged goods, and any problems or issues that may arise. Have flexibility in scheduling and availability to work the times, shifts, days, and overtime as necessary to meet the company and department needs. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, including safe operation of equipment and helping to maintain a clean, safe working environment. Always keep work areas safe/clean including but not limited to: Outside docks, receiving area, all aisles, workstations, excess pallet wrap hanging off skids. Properly inspect and maintain material handling equipment prior to start of shift in accordance with OSHA regulation. Perform other miscellaneous duties in the warehouse as needed and assigned. Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
Must have the ability to count Valid Driver's License Attention to detail Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage Previous Warehouse working experience preferred Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs Great physical stamina and manual dexterity Team player Good organizational and time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
