Responsible to decide specifications and confirm requirements using Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). This engineer is to prepare & perform automotive crash safety related simulations to support vehicle developments & research. Key Accountabilities
Decide action plan and utilize CAE tools to execute analysis for assigned specification setting and requirement confirmation activities. Collaborate with test and part design engineers and project chiefs to optimize specifications for performance, cost, and weight. Create documentation for specification and confirmation results and explain to direct supervisor. Collaborate with and mentor other CAE Engineers for efficient and accurate joint CAE analysis. Test requirements when necessary. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor's of Science (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or other related field) or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of engineering experience required Experience with LS-DYNA, ANSA, Meta-Post, CATIA, Linux OS Must be familiar with & have experience in preparing automotive crash safety related simulations Working Conditions
Hybrid Mostly desk work with some laboratory work Travel is
