Position Summary:
As a Transload Loader, you will safely transfer hazardous and non-hazardous products between railroad tank cars and tanker trucks, ensuring compliance with EPA, FRA, OSHA regulations, and company standards. This hands-on role involves working in an outdoor environment, operating equipment, performing product preparation, and conducting inspections.
What You'll Do:
You'll play a critical role in transferring bulk products while operating mechanical equipment and performing inspections, including climbing ladders to heights of up to 20 feet. You'll prepare products for transfer by heating, sparging, or sampling and ensure all safety and compliance protocols are followed, including maintaining transfer logs and manifests. Additionally, preventive maintenance of equipment is a key responsibility.
