JOB SUMMARY

Provide acceptable and timely task completion in support of the project management team to improve the efficiency and success of project implementations. Responsible for, but not limited to, analysis, research, installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting applications and solutions. JOB DUTIES

Collaborate with the assigned project manager, technical support resources, analysts, vendors, and stakeholders to complete project tasks throughout the project life cycle. Provide regular updates to the assigned project manager, including the status of assigned tasks and any issues. Identify and communicate problems to the assigned project manager promptly. Actively participate and contribute during project-related meetings such as software demos, team meetings, brainstorming sessions, etc. Update project software and assigned tasks with detailed notes of changes and updates. Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions and actions taken, through to final resolution. Communicate all pertinent information to the assigned project manager. Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues. Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. Provide technical support during user acceptance testing and post-go live. Perform software testing and configuration as assigned. Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved. Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization. Perform preventative maintenance on training machines, including installing service packs, patches, hotfixes, etc., in preparation for user acceptance testing. Regular attendance and punctuality.

OTHER JOB DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two years of experience in related field. Experience with troubleshooting and issue resolution techniques. Broad knowledge of project management, change management, and business analysis. Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures. Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.

An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be substituted at the Clerk's discretion.

Licenses/Certificates: Project+ certification, or the ability to obtain the certification within the first six months of employment is required.

EQUIPMENT USED: Personal computer, calculator, copier, phone. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision. Skill in interacting with the public, co-workers and intra-county office personnel professionally, both in person and on the telephone. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, orally and in writing. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: Constant: Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction), acceptable hearing (with or without correction), ability to access, input and retrieve information from a personal computer, ability to sit for long periods of time.

Frequent: Ability to communicate orally to answer questions from the public, both in person and over the telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Constant: Office environment, with constant public exposure. Work closely with others.

Frequent: Flexible hours, and occasional travel between locations are required.
