The Material Handler plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely production and delivery schedules are met. The Materials Handler will work collaboratively with various departments to support overall operational excellence. This is a temp to hire position.

Job Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing materials, including loading and unloading shipments, and transporting materials to designated areas within the warehouse. Collaborate with the receiving team to accurately document and process incoming materials into the Epicor ERP system. Verify shipment details, inspect materials for damages or defects, and update inventory records accordingly. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor. Participate in regular safety training sessions. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations within the Epicor system. Identify and report discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Work closely with production teams, shipping/receiving, and other departments to coordinate material movements and prioritize tasks to meet production schedules. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery in a safe and responsible manner. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment. Utilize Epicor ERP system for seamless recording and tracking of material transactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on inventory levels and movements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must ensure the accuracy of information and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Language skills:

The position requires strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating sound judgment in decision-making. Candidates should also be able to read, interpret and translate documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Safety Consciousness:

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, operating equipment responsibly, and promptly reporting any safety concerns. Epicor Proficiency:

Experience or willingness to learn how to effectively use the Epicor ERP system for receiving, inventory management, and material transactions. Associate Requirements

HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old
