Job Summary:

The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire post-compliance labeling and order fulfillment process, including receiving, storage, accurate labeling, picking, packing, and outbound order loading. This position ensures compliance with regulatory standards, manages inventory accuracy, and leads a team to execute daily operations efficiently. The role involves collaboration with various departments, including Production, Compliance, Distribution, and Sales.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment & Inventory Management Manage all aspects of the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of outbound orders. Track inventory for both cannabis and non-cannabis goods, ensuring FIFO adherence and other stock rotation procedures. Ensure all order boxes are labeled correctly with customer name, order number, box count, and METRC tags, in compliance with state regulations. Perform routine cycle counts, weekly inventory audits, and promptly resolve any discrepancies. Monitor at-risk inventory to avoid product expiration and aging. Packing and Labeling

Oversee the creation and printing of accurate package labels, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Maintain proper documentation and tracking of all inventory movements, collaborating with the compliance team to investigate errors and ensure regulatory adherence. Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs related to labeling, order processing, compliance, and inventory management. Team Leadership & Training

Lead, train, and manage the fulfillment and packaging team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and team members understand safety protocols and SOPs. Provide ongoing feedback to staff and support continuous improvement initiatives for workflow efficiency. Collaborate with Compliance, Distribution, and Sales departments to enhance communication and organizational alignment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate smooth operations. Data Reporting & Auditing

Track and report on KPIs related to fulfillment, inventory, labeling output, and production waste. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and provide weekly post-audit inventory reports. Track and report on production rejects, packaging waste, and other relevant metrics to ensure accuracy and improve processes. Software & Technology

Implement and support new software systems and related technologies to enhance inventory management, fulfillment, and reporting capabilities. Ensure all orders are properly registered, posted, and closed. Process Improvement & Space Utilization

Continuously evaluate and improve daily processes to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity. Implement space utilization plans to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and maximize operational efficiency. Minimize inventory loss through proper handling, secure storage, and adherence to company policies. Safety

Ensure a safe working environment for all staff, complying with all safety guidelines and regulations. Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of fulfillment, inventory management, and labeling processes. Experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks such as DCC and METRC is preferred. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members. Proficiency in using software systems for inventory and order management. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with other departments.
