Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of sales experience, with a proven track record or strong interest in account management within the semiconductor industry. Additionally, experience in selling vacuum pumps to the semiconductor market is plus. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can understand and interpret technical documentation, propose solutions, and build strong relationships with clients. The ability to travel and a passion for learning and innovation are essential.
Base Salary: $100-120K
Responsibilities: •Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives in the semiconductor industry. •Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. •Understand and interpret technical materials to propose suitable solutions to clients. •Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and providing timely and effective solutions, including repair services. •Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. •Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. •Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the successful implementation of proposed solutions. •Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients. •Travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events and conferences. •Develop and implement customer service strategies, including repair and maintenance solutions, to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. •Work cohesively within a team environment, supporting and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. •Independently develop and implement sales strategies to increase the company's product awareness in the U.S. market. •Create and execute marketing activities to elevate brand recognition from a low base to a well-known entity within the U.S.
Qualifications: •Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with a focus on or strong interest in account management in the semiconductor industry. •Strong understanding of semiconductor products and technologies is a plus. •Experience in account management with key players in the semiconductor industry, such as Micron, Quovo, and other major companies, is highly desirable. •Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation and materials. •Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Self-motivated with a strong drive for learning and personal development. •Ability to travel as required. •Problem-solving skills with the ability to propose effective solutions to client issues. •Ability to work effectively in a team environment. •Demonstrated capability to independently develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. •Strong negotiation and presentation skills. •A bachelor's degree or equivalent. •Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus. •Experience with or an interest in working with Japanese companies is a plus.
