We have an immediate career growth opportunity with our Information Workplace Services team for a talented Systems Administrator / Analyst . You will collaborate with a diverse team of DT professionals to support fast-paced, critical programs; develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient 24x7 environments across various classified programs; define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
** This is an onsite position in Largo, FL**
What YOU will do: You will provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Mostly Microsoft Windows but some RedHat Enterprise Linux environment supporting Windows Server internals and/or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. You will troubleshoot technical problems such as integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). You will install and configure software applications; perform data backups; maintain system security requirements; generate documentation and training on IT processes and procedures. You will support engineers engaged in software, simulations, and hardware development. You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins. Qualifications you must have:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen) Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. Requires prior Windows systems administration as well as networking administration experience, backups, and recovery enterprise suites. Must have and maintain a U.S. government DoD Top Secret security clearance is required - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. Domestic Travel 10% Qualifications We Prefer:
An active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance or prior SCI/program eligibility. The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
