Frontend Software Engineer, Tesla Bot

As a member of the Tesla Bot Tooling team you will design and implement the web tools that accelerate our humanoid robotics program. You'll help build the websites used by engineers and operators to control our growing fleet of Optimus robots. You'll improve our real-time and offline analysis tools which provide a 3D view of the surrounding environment. You'll develop the platform used by our AI team for labeling data and running real-world evaluations.A strong candidate is someone who is exceptionally strong in frontend engineering and has an eye for design and intuitive user experiences. You'll take ownership over large features and proactively work with our engineering customers to build the right tools that improve their workflows. You're able to architect highly reliable, extensible code that multiplies the productivity of our team.
Responsibilities
Design and implement web-based tools for data visualization, labeling and evals Work closely with engineers, operators, and labelers to understand UI/UX needs Work closely with backend engineers to seamlessly integrate with frontend systems Work closely with AI researchers to build efficient systems that accelerate their workflows Requirements
Strong understanding of Typescript, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and HTML Experience building modern web applications using React/Redux or similar libraries Strong UI and graphic design sensibilities Experience with 3D Graphics, OpenGL, WebGL, or THREE.js Ability to leverage the latest AI coding tools Compensation and Benefits Benefits

$120,000 - $318,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
