SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges. Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.
SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness.
SPA has a near term need for a Mid-Level or Senior-Level Information Assurance Toolsmith (Platform IA - Cloud). #MC
Responsibilities You will be responsible for evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 (replaces Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) (replaces Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) 6/3), Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253, Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53. You will also be r eviewing, analyzing, and assessing aircraft systems configurations/architectures to identify security, safety, and mission-critical functions/components and critical program information (CPI).
Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of relevant DoD IA experience and a technical Associate degree from an accredited university DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I (Security+) or equivalent certifications Information Assurance knowledge and experience on DoD ACAT I or equivalent development programs Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite (especially Jira and Confluence) Experience as a Trusted Agent, system privileged user, and application administrator for Jira and Confluence TS/SCI Clearance
