Job Summary:
As an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Hand Fellowship at Trinity Health, you will specialize in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions of the hand, wrist, and forearm, alongside general orthopedics. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing the functionality and quality of life for patients with upper extremity disorders.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with hand and upper extremity conditions. Conduct surgical procedures including arthroscopy, tendon repairs, and joint replacements when necessary. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists to implement rehabilitation and recovery plans post-surgery. Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, recovery processes, and preventive measures. Engage in community health initiatives aimed at promoting musculoskeletal health. Stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic surgery through continuous education and professional development. Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completed an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Hand Surgery Fellowship. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota. Strong surgical skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
