Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator in Huntsville, AL to join our team in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC).

Responsibilities:

Provides expert solutions for highly complex IT system technical matters. Provides technical support for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex problems. Designs, develops, and implements complex hardware, software, and database solutions to satisfy system requirements and problems. Develops, plans, coordinates, and integrates systems-related requirements to support operational needs. Makes recommendations based on findings. Develops and coordinates contract deliverables and reports. Work with Government, contractor staff and end-users to identify and implement IT requirements. Assist members of cyber security programs to ensure compliance with cyber security requirements. Collaborate with IT team members as needed for infrastructure management and application deployment. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation and support new technology implementation efforts across infrastructure. Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions. Mitigate and investigate security risks identified by automated scanning tools and external assessments. Requirements

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen. Active Secret clearance required. Familiar with performing system/server administration for IT infrastructure Excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior experience working in a classified environment. Prior experience supporting deliverable/release objectives: product documentation, STIG analysis, and deployment orchestration. Knowledge of Microsoft Server administration. Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited institution in a related field).

2 years of experience.
