This role involves analyzing project requirements, supporting and enhancing SAP areas, interfacing with business users, performing advanced functional configuration, executing test plans, and ensuring successful deployment of SAP solutions.

Position Description:

The SAP Functional Analyst understands the operations of assigned business divisions or functional areas by identifying and articulating opportunities for improvement in operations and processes.This position analyzes requirements and facilitates needed business support of assigned SAP supply-chain logistics areas by performing functional configuration, testing, and successful deployment of solutions.

This role creates and maintains strong relationships with assigned business units or functional areas and acts as the liaison between these stakeholders and technical IT resources.Assigned functional areas may include supply-chain logistics modules of a largely Warehouse Managed organization; (SAP MM) Materials Management, (SAP SD) Sales and Distribution, (SAP PP) Production Planning & Control.

Primary Responsibilities: Performs direct functional support with business users to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve daily business identified problems. Analyzes business functions, requirements, and processes to deliver optimal support and needed changes via IMG configuration. Creates functional specifications to collaborate clearly with SAP technical teams aimed at solving complex business requirements. Works with assigned business division(s) or functional areas to identify opportunities for improvement. Develops solutions with business division approval and delivers accurate business requirements to technical IT resources. Contributes heavily to design phases of projects. This includes supplying business knowledge to the design phase, verifying the end blueprint satisfies the actual business requirements of the project, and identifying potential conflicts with other businesses or processes. Leads overall integration testing of assigned projects, as well as unit testing for any self-developed work. Develops and implements testing plans for assigned projects. Creates project documentation & training plans. This includes providing accurate, accessible documentation as needed to transfer knowledge to end users and support staff. Provides go-live project support and facilitates the knowledge transition process post go-live. Adheres to project and department policies. This includes general department and project team policy adherence, as well as completing all forms and project status reports as required. Trains, mentors, and provides guidance to developing SAP Functional Analysts. Other duties as assigned. Physical & Work Requirements:

0 to 30% travel as required May require evening or weekend work Hybrid work environment (partial on-site weekly) Required Background, Competencies & Expertise:

Minimum of 4 years working experience as an SAP Functional Analyst (preferred S/4HANA) Strong knowledge integration points to cross functional modules Ability to design solutions with accurate documentation and detailed functional specifications Ability to perform configuration needs within the relevant modules Experience in managing functional areas of SAP projects Excellent team player exceling in knowledge transfer Superior communication and social skills Advanced knowledge of general SAP process flow and capabilities Advanced knowledge of relevant SAP module(s) and business processes High attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Advanced MS office and documentation skills Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision Ability to coordinate resources and lead decision making processes Energetic and task driven Adaptable to changing priorities Bachelor's degree in business or MIS or related field, or relevant experience Preferred Background and Competencies:
