The Employee Services Department is actively seeking a Human Resources Manager - HRIS and Data.

This position reports to the Chief of Talent Management and is responsible for coordinating and directing the activities of a team engaged in the design, implementation, evaluation, coordination, administration and maintenance of human resource computer programs, transactions and systems.
Examples of Work
Develops and recommends new and revised policies and procedures to respond to system needs, objectives and priorities of the unit. Acts as the point of contact between Information Technology and Employee Services to address computer hardware, software and technical issues. Acts as consultant to outside divisions and units by providing technical advice and assistance on human resources computer related issues and matters. Creates human resources reports to increase efficiencies and maintains the department's website. Oversees staff engaged in reviewing and approving personnel transactions and auditing employment records. Researches, collects and analyzes human resources data. Identifies opportunities for improving Human Resources processes through information systems changes. Coordinates the payment of salary earned and all applicable incentive payments (service raise, education, and certification). Ensures transactions of employee records are processed accurately and timely. Participates in the development of, and advises management on, information technology strategy and technology deployment. May develop and conduct training programs. Assigns, coaches, reviews and evaluates the work of assigned team members. Stays current on all rules, regulations and collective bargaining agreements. Communicates clear direction, manages for results and leads organizational change. Assigns responsibility, takes corrective action, demonstrates leadership in evaluating, developing and motivating employees.

An eight (8) year combination of education, training and professional experience in human resources which must include at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity and 2 years of HRIS management.
Preferred experience in information technology, project management, and human resources policies and practices.
