Generations Healthcare Traveling Business Office Manager / $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 and up DOE (Northern CA, San Jose area

Must have decentralized billing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF)

Generations Healthcare is seeking a Traveling Business Office Manager to support our Northern CA skilled nursing facilities. This is a supportive role which works closely with the Corporate AR Team and may serve as interim Business Office Manager (BOM) for company facilities; help train new facility BOMs to our company; assist with questions and concerns from the facility BOMs.

Qualification and Education Requirements: Decentralized business office experience in a skilled nursing facility. 3+ years of Business Office Manager experience in Skilled Nursing/Post-Acute setting with decentralized billing experience. Experience with billing Medicare, Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Managed Care & Coinsurance and knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care billing and collection practices and techniques. High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Essential Functions:

Work in business office of assigned facilities in the event of, but not limited to, the following situations: business office personnel leave of absence, business office position vacancy, special projects, training business office personnel, etc. Assist in the completion of initial and re-authorization Treatment Authorization Requests and Managed Care Medi-Cal authorizations as needed, including all pertinent documentation necessary for approval. Balance daily census to Nurses' census. Work with Corporate AR Team on company-wide and/or facility-specific projects. Examples of projects including auditing, billing, collections, follow up, working with health plans, etc.
