We are seeking a diligent and proactive Material Handler to join our energetic team. In this role, you’ll tackle quality issues head-on, handle heavy lifting, and manage the loading and unloading of steel members with precision. Your main mission will be to move and load steel members on and off paint carts, ensuring they are staged safely in the craneway by job. You’ll keep our yard spotless, organize tasks like a pro, and meticulously track data and product quantities. Plus, you’ll get the chance to assist in various departments, including painting, paint prep, and material handling throughout the shop.**Responsibilities:**+ Address quality problems with a keen eye.+ Perform heavy lifting, loading, and unloading with efficiency.+ Move and load steel members on and off paint carts.+ Stage steel members safely in the craneway by job.+ Quickly learn and adapt to instructions.+ Maintain a clean and organized yard.+ Track data and quantities of products diligently.+ Assist in other departments as needed, including painting, paint prep, material handling, and loading trailers.**Essential Skills:**+ Knowledge of safety procedures to keep everyone safe.+ Proficiency with computer skills, including e-mail, MS Office applications, and select reporting tools.+ Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease.**Shift/Pay:**+ Work schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM.+ Starting pay: $18/hr (with potential for pay growth after a 90-day review).**Why Work Here?**+ Join a thriving location that offers comprehensive training and pay increases for every machine you learn and get certified to use.+ We conduct a 90-day review with potential pay increases and provide an Employee Assistance Program to support you.**Work Environment:**+ This role is based in an industrial facility where you’ll embrace the challenge of heavy lifting and working in all outdoor environments.+ Expect to be on your feet for most of the shift, navigating uneven terrain, and climbing on and off semi-trailers.**Job Type & Location:** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.**_Ready to join a team where your hard work and dedication will be recognized and rewarded?
