Federal Proposal Coordinator
Position Overview
This position will be responsible for preparing proposals for federal and state agency clients including maintaining the resources and data required for responses to procurements, including professional resumes, project descriptions, and SF330 forms. This position is best suited for an individual who is self-motivated, organized, and works well under pressure. This individual will work independently, and in a team environment, coordinating proposal team efforts and setting schedules. This individual should be available to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines. Some travel for this position may be required.
Job Functions & Responsibilities Proposal Development : Design, coordination, and preparation of all proposals, resumes, project descriptions, and forms. Compliance : Ensure all proposals comply with federal regulations and solicitation requirements. Collaboration : Work with technical teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop proposal content. Project Management : Manage the proposal development process, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Review and Quality Control : Conduct reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Documentation : Maintain proposal templates, boiler plate content and a library of past proposals for reference. Communication : Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the proposal development process. Market Research : Monitoring and identifying potential projects using assigned client, industry, and government websites. Minimum Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field. Experience : Minimum 5 years in the A/E/C industry with federal agency procurement process experience (SF330 and Task Order submittals) Software : Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Microsoft Teams; and Proposal Management Software. (Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro, GovWin, and Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus) Skills :
Proficient in production, scheduling, and follow-up of proposals including coordination with Project Managers and technical staff. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading abilities. Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
