DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIEs
Oversee Team Member performance and train all new team members. Verify chemical inventory and perform chemical testing daily. Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed. Inspect equipment for compliance with federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards. Direct and assign cleaning of equipment and work areas. Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions. Interpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist team members in solving work problems. Perform inspections on plant equipment, create proper documentation, and release the various areas in a timely manner. Assist the Sanitation supervisor with special projects as needed. Support multiple line changeovers to ensure proper cleaning is performed, staff are utilized efficiently, and appropriate departments are notified for support in a timely matter. Train production leads, operators, and crew on effective sanitation practices in a timely matter. Train, manage, clean, and troubleshoot sanitation equipment including but not limited to floor scrubber, COP tank, parts washer, dry steam, foamer, vacuums, etc. Manage 6S and inventory of sanitation tools, line-specific tooling, and equipment. Ensures equipment is taken apart completely and organized, followed by guaranteeing proper reassembly of equipment and line. QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and a minimum of two years' experience in food manufacturing or related Sanitation experience preferred. Knowledge of position responsibilities. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and proven leadership abilities. Knowledge of chemicals and their application preferred. Knowledge in HACCP, GMP(s), SOP(s) and Food Safety Principles required. Must be able to work directly with the Quality Assurance department & USDA. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. EXPERIENCE
Preferred: 2 years of Food Manufacturing or Sanitation experience. Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
