1st Shift Material Handler (Pre-Fab)

Primary
Responsibility: The material handler assists the fabrication and welding teams in a manufacturing setting.
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.
What You'll Do: Load, unload, and transport materials and products to and from production areas, warehouses, or storage locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials and products throughout the facility. Safely stack, organize, and store materials in designated areas. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to verify contents and quality. Maintain accurate records of materials, inventory counts, and transactions. Assist in keeping the warehouse and production areas clean and organized. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are readily available to meet production schedules. Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery in a safe and controlled manner. Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct routine checks and maintenance on material handling equipment. How to Qualify:
High School Diploma. Ability to handle metal parts and insulation and be physically sound for repetitive bending and lifting. Ability to count, calculate, read warehouse map with bin locations. Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision. Excellent verbal communication skills. Knowledge of safe workplace practices. Prior forklift experience preferred. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift. Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods of time. What's In it For You:
