Reporting to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor at HMH Specialty Pharmacy, the Specialty Pharmacy Shipping and Logistics Coordinator oversees the receipt, storage, retrieval, mailing, and coordination of prescription drug and medical supply orders essential to the specialty pharmacy's operation. The role also involves maintaining precise documentation related to order receipt, storage, shipping, and any additional handling of prescriptions at HMH Specialty Pharmacy. Moreover, the position entails collaborating with specialty pharmacy leadership on shipping and logistics matters and creating essential analytic reports and dashboards for URAC, ACHC, and other specialty pharmacy accreditations in partnership with the specialty pharmacy staff. includes: 1. Packages prescription orders upon completion and ships products to customers' specified addresses. 2. Ensures accurate billing for mailed products and devices to customers. 3. Coordinates pickups, deliveries, and vendor-supplied item logistics based on schedule and location. 4. Oversees, monitors, and replenishes stock for the specialty pharmacy, alerting the supervisor when stock requires reordering, rotating supply and prescription drug stock, and checking for outdates. 5. Facilitates the transfer of supplies between the pharmacy and storage facilities. 6. Maintains cleanliness at the shipping stations, ensuring the area remains organized and orderly. 7. Assists other pharmacy personnel in maintaining and cleaning the pharmacy production area. 8. Collaborates with the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to validate shipping supplies for all seasons to meet URAC accreditation standards. 9. Conducts miscellaneous record-keeping and clerical duties, including matching invoices, updating supply costs, purchasing from an approved supply list, and filing documents and prescriptions following state and federal regulations. 10. Demonstrates proficiency in operating a POS system. 11. Monitor and enforce compliance with New Jersey Board of Pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, and Hackensack Meridian Healthcare Policies and Procedures for all technician navigator activities. 12. Adhere to departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code. 13. Perform other assigned duties. Qualifications: Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs. 2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 3. Minimum of three (3) years of previously effective pharmacy technician experience in Hospital, Retail, or Specialty Pharmacy. 4. Must be comfortable using multiple software programs. 5. Must be organized and possess effective time management skills. 6. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written. 7. Detail-oriented (or ability to perform duties with the highest degree of accuracy). Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Specialty Pharmacy 2. Epic/Willow Ambulatory Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Pharmacy Technician License. 2. PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician or certified within 6 months of hire.
