DESCRIPTION:
This position provides the opportunity to learn and apply the fundamentals of the software verification process as specified within the objectives of the RTCA DO-178C standard. In this position you will learn about the avionics equipment, safety critical SW applications, SW design methodologies and the FAA certification process. The candidate will apply the following skills as part of the software verification process:
+ Develop Test Procedure from Systems and SW Requirements
+ Perform tests on a wide range of avionics equipment.
+ Develop and maintain SW Test Applications
+ Analyze Graphics and I/O Performance
+ Perform testing on individual units and as part of a System setup.
+ Code/Requirement Differential and Regression Analysis
+ Code review for coding standard adherence
+ Structural Coverage Analysis
+ Generate Software Problem Reports
+ Technical Documentation and Reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
+ Understanding of the C programming language
+ Interest in software testing within embedded software environment
+ Familiarity with VB/VBA and Assembly languages
+ FPGA exposure, ideally with Xilinx
+ Exposure to Vivado
+ Familiarity with programming of VHDL or Verilog
+ Familiarity with Software Design Methodologies
+ The ability to self-teach additional C language skills
