Position Summary:

The Senior Branch Banking Officer is responsible for the effective performance of branches within their assigned region, including operations, production, client service, training, security, and safety in accordance with the bank's objectives. They promote our sales and service culture through coaching and team motivation. The Senior Branch Banking Officer leads in achieving individual, branch, regional, and bank-wide goals through new business development, referrals, and retention of account relationships. They serve as an Ambassador of our bank's mission, vision, and values, providing leadership, accountability, encouragement, and training to branch managers and teams in the pursuit of our bank's core purpose.

The salary for this role will be between $119,585 -$185,357. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.Hired candidate may be eligible for healthcare benefits, 401K plan, short term & long-term disability coverage, life insurance, vacation & sick time, educational assistance, and several holidays.Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Involvement:

Actively participate in community events and initiatives, fostering stronger local relationships. Ensure appropriate Bank representation at regional community events and ongoing leadership through civic and community organization involvement. Lead and encourage branch team participation in community service activities, promoting a culture of giving back. Leadership:

Lead and motivate teams across multiple branches. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with supporting business partners to present a holistic approach to assessing the financial needs of customers. Create a culture that attracts, retains, and grows a team that values diversity, inclusion, and engagement. Conduct monthly on-site branch visits to support branch performance and staff development. Exemplify excellent independent decision-making skills, keeping the Bank's best interest in mind at all times. Develop and implement a regional business plan that aligns with strategic goals, builds market presence, achieves production goals, grows bank revenue, enhances client experience, and develops top talent. Build team bench strength within the region and ensure fluid succession planning. Frequent contact with Supervisor to receive coaching, direction and/or information, when necessary. As needed contact with customers and prospective customers to develop and maintain successful business relationships. Frequent contact with Branch Managers and branch teams within Region to provide assistance, support, coaching, and direction. Frequent contact with all business line partners to strategize, operate effectively and grow the brank. Production and Growth:

Increase profitability, generate deposit and loan growth, and meet/exceed current and long-range objectives in assigned branches through business development, enhancing relationships, and marketing efforts. Call on and correspond with local business owners, managers, etc. to generate business sufficient to meet/exceed assigned goals. Promote and develop new business for the Bank through specific operating objectives Assist in the establishment of current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies of Riverview Retail Banking, as directed and approved by the Executive team. Communication Skills:

Utilize verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with team and clients. Collaborate with other Regional Retail Managers to establish and achieve meaningful production goals, complete retail initiatives, maintain uniformity of bank-wide best practices, and contribute to the retail division's long-term growth and efficiency. Maintain effective, positive relationships with branch managers and other staff through consistent in-branch visits, phone calls, and email correspondence. Analytical Skills:

Analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive performance. Interpret financial reports, client data, and operational metrics to guide branch strategy. Employ strong critical thinking skills to quickly assess situations, consider multiple solutions, and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes. Evaluate and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, cost ratios, and loan-to-deposit ratios. Use metrics to monitor branch success, compare performance across regions, and recommend actions to enhance productivity. Client Service Oriented:

Promote client-centric strategies that enhance both client satisfaction and the bank's bottom line. Demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing client satisfaction and service quality. Respond effectively to escalated customer questions, suggestions, concerns, and complaints. Financial Acumen:

Possess a solid understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements to make data-driven decisions that drive branch and regional performance while maintaining the bank's financial stability and growth. Understand profit & loss management, including revenue streams, expense, and cost management. Forecast revenue and expense trends to align with budgetary goals. Set realistic and ambitious sales goals, including revenue, deposit growth, and loan growth, and forecast future sales goals based on past data and market trends. Be aware of regional market conditions, economic indicators, and the competitive landscape, and adjust strategies in response to external financial factors. Goals:

Increase Market Share:

Expand the bank's presence in the region by attracting new clients and retaining existing ones. Assist with business development efforts within the region and actively participate in joint calls with branch teams.

Enhance Client Experience: Improve client satisfaction scores through effective service delivery and branch experience. Boost Production Performance: Achieve a specific percentage increase in product sales across all branches within the region. Develop Talent: Build a strong leadership pipeline by mentoring branch managers and developing their teams. Consistently coach and lead the defined sales and service processes for the region. Ensure team members receive proper training to demonstrate the ability to sell, cross-sell, and refer as appropriate to reach individual/team sales productivity goals. Actively recruit talent within the marketplace as successors for open positions. Ensure new employees are onboarded in a timely and practical manner. Optimize Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes to reduce costs and improve branch productivity. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises assigned Branch Managers and Business Development Officer.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in business, finance (or related field) and 8 years of (combination of banking and leadership) experience or Equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong financial and analytical skills. Ability to manage a group of highly trained personnel. Strong business judgment skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Extensive supervisory, managerial, and leadership experience. SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a professional manner. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The position requires the basic skills associated with the general use of computers and other business office equipment. Additionally, the ability to offer flexibility in a changing work environment is imperative.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
