Houstonian Campus LLC is hiring: Retail Salesperson- Seasonal in Houston

Position Summary: The Seasonal Associates’ focus is to ensure that each guest receives outstanding service including greeting guests with a smile. Must be 17 years or older. Other requirements include but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor, filling in merchandise from backstock, assisting in cleaning out fitting rooms, and gift wrapping.

Responsible to: Store Manager

Customer Service

• Greeting each guest and creating a warm shopping atmosphere.

• Drives brand loyalty by presenting an outstanding shopping experience that includes a neat, clean, sized, and replenished floor.
• Reflects our core values of welcoming and inclusive, integrity, service, stewardship, and progress.
• Has a proactive self-starter mindset and problem-solving attitude.

Inventory Management

• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floors, shelves & back stock.
• Assist with markdowns as directed.
• Ensures inventory compliance per company guidelines.

Operations

• Complete knowledge of sales floor layout, storage, and back stock areas.

• Maintain shop’s visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Work to accomplish store’s daily/weekly to do list/opening/closing lists.

Knowledge and Skills

• Prior customer service experience preferred.

• Must have excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Must have ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Possesses strong organizational, attention to detail and follow up skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to use dolly or transport device up to 50 lbs. up an incline.
• Must be able to bend and stoop on a regular basis, stand for long periods, and use a ladder.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.

The Shop is open every day, so we are looking for someone who is available to work a varied schedule that may include some weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
