The company is a global automotive parts manufacturer that provides a wide range of products, including modules for automotive assembly, safety systems, and electronics.
This plant plays a crucial role in producing key automotive components such as chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules. These components are essential for vehicle assembly and contribute significantly to the overall production process of Hyundai and Kia vehicles. The plant's operations involve advanced manufacturing techniques and adhere to high-quality standards to ensure the reliability and performance of the automotive parts they produce.
[Job Summary]
The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for setting up costing processes and maintaining information system, SAP CO module, and ensures that costs are accurately allocated according to the company’s procedures and in compliance of accounting standards. And monitors the company’s cost related operations and activities and makes continuous efforts for cost reduction through analysis of each cost driver. Also actively participates in the month end close, annual budgeting and planning process and conducting profitability analysis of various characteristics.
This position will be responsible for assisting HOD and CFO with day-to-day operations and reporting requirements.

- Budgeting and Planning
- Participating in the annual budgeting and planning process by providing accurate cost and expense data or information.
- Cost and Expense Control
- Maintaining SAP CO module and monitoring costs and expenses from various manufacturing processes and departmental activities.
- Month and Year End Close
- Participating in the month and year end close including coordination with external auditors
- Cost and profitability analysis
- Analyzing production costs and expenses in coordination with related departments and profitability of product and product groups.
- Any other duties as assigned.
[Qualifications]
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- SAP experience required.
- Knowledge of applicable bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Advanced computer skills: MS Office, accounting software and databases
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
- Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance field
- Years of experience in the automotive field
- Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred but not mandatory.
